Here's some tips straight from USCIS:

http://www.uscis.gov...00045f3d6a1RCRD

They say you can staple fees but suggest using paperclips for supporting evidence

I don't think they'll turn you away if you staple things. I think we can all agree that paperclips are the easier, less messy solution from the USCIS point of view. And we are, after all, trying to make it easy for them.

Those are the tips for sending to the NBC, such as for AOS. That one states no ACCO fasteners, but the other general tips page(not for NBC) states to use the ACCO fasteners and avoid heavy-duty staples: http://www.uscis.gov...00045f3d6a1RCRD

I do not think stapling groups of papers that need to remain together would be a bad thing. I believe I have seen others post that they used staples that way with no problem. I hope it is not a bad thing because I have been getting the ROC papers together for my husband to send out next week and I have been using staples on things that need to stay grouped together.

I think we are going to be fine with paperclips but not the staples as long as we use it for Fee

check a look to this

Use paperclips when attaching supporting personal documents to forms (do NOT use “ACCO” fasteners; staples are acceptable when attaching fees)

Gone through the link - it doesn't matter whether it is USCIS or NBC. I think they don't mind stapling everything except for the payment, which they probably want it attached using a clip for easy removal for cashing.

In case of photoes (not relevant for I-751) also they wouldn't like those to be staplled - we put those in a see-through envelope and stappled the enveloped during I-130/ DS-230 time.

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11

thank you. i have read the instruction and it says a check but does not say a personal check so i was little confused.

I m so excited and little worried that i m going to send the package of Roc march 12 I think i would not able to send any statments of our joint accounts bec i have added my wife's name in few weeks ago and i did not received any statements of both of us name i know i asked it before but i really need to hear more advise of that if it is a good idea to send the paper from the bank that we have joint account together even though i added her name few weeks ago, almost time to fill the ROC. i dont want to give them a red flag bec of that

thanks again
