I am so tired of hearing about all the special help people already here are going to get. What about the people patiently waiting outside the country? Sorry but every time I see this on the news I feel like crying. I am not trying to hate on other people's situations but I can't help but ask - WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN HERE!?

So sorry, you'll need to wait as the illegals jump to the head of the line again so a few politicians can pat themselves on the back. Chances are probably good that later they'll cut the budget to USCIS again, while raising fees at the same time. The last big jump in fees were supposed to speed things up, and they did for a little while, then they cut the budget again and made it even slower.

I can't help but see again that immigration reform has no real reform, just another band-aid on top of a broken system. With no attention to the broken processing portion of the system. Thankfully my wife is half way done with just has ROC and citizenship, and then we no longer have to worry about it.

My husband of 8 years came illegally. He has been away from me and our 3 children since september waiting on waivers to be completed. His waiver was finally approved and now the visa is taking forever it seems like. I know that separation is not fun, but we chose to do the right thing and start the process without him being removed or deported. It has been hard and we have survived. There was really no problem with the law the way it was, they just neede more adjudicators and visa stampers to speed it up a bit i think.

I understand your feelings. As U.S. citizens, if we break the law we are punished and can rarely have a life again. If you are black and break the law you can hang it up on having a life again. The illegal aliens break the law and they are punished with a road to citizenship. Sometimes I wish my husband could cross the boarder but in my heartI know we are doing things right.

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

It's nothing else that fighting for votes of Hispanic minority in US. In addition, giving illegal immigrants path to citizenship (or at least telling them that this is what is going to happen) will yield thousands of people trying to get in here illegally. I really do not understand it...

My husband has an arrest from 2006 for a small amount of marijuana. If he was here illegally he could stay during the waiver. It seems backwards. I get that it helps families stay together. I am not hating on that issue. I just wish the same break applied to him outside the country as it did if he was here. It's annoying to have gone through everything else to have to wait while other don't have to. I have friends who this waiver will help out. It just feels as though I am being punished for obeying the rules.
