Who know.... I understand is NOT NVC fault but it's the Embassy that advised them to schedule. Grrrrrr I'm so confused!

On Friday I emailed the embassy in Skopje and asked how long it takes, on average, to get an interview scheduled once the case is complete at the NVC. They are more out of touch on time frames than my lawyer!

Dear Mrs. _____:

It takes about 5 to 6 months from the day when Petition is filed to the day when Petition is sent to our Embassy.

Regards,

Immigrant Visa Unit

yeah, right, in that case why wasn't he here May 2012 :bonk:

Well I have no clue how to understand the Visa Bullietin to see where they are in processing. Have you gone to look at it to see where they are. Looks like the date is September 22, 2010.

Someone will come along soon and maybe at least give you a timeline when to expect to be processed. I believe you have another year or so.

Here are the links so you can better understand.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5834.html

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextchannel=aa290a5659083210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextoid=aa290a5659083210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

The visa bulletin says Its october 2010. But they have asked me to submit all my documents along with police report, by sseptember. The nvc's mail on 18 decemeber said that my case is waiting for an interview appointment. So tell me what should I make of it

Nothing yet. I am guessing they may be behind on scheduling interviews with the holidays. But don't quote me on that. It is driving me crazy with all this waiting and not knowing now.

Its monday and the 3rd week of the month! wow! the computers are down!.... REALLY? Does this hold them back from scheduling interview appointments? ... hahaha... I just had to ask that. Well, something has to happen THIS week.

Wishing all of us patience and endurance.

I'm asking that too! The phones are still workingtongue.gif Just Git er' done NVC!! Come onnnnnn!

Nothing yet. I am guessing they may be behind on scheduling interviews with the holidays. But don't quote me on that. It is driving me crazy with all this waiting and not knowing now.

I'm developing a serious OCD disorder from all this. I not only check my emails hourly.....but I even REFRESH while I'm checking just in case one was trying to load while I was checking the first time blink.gif

Ok this msg is to my fellow DOMINICAN REP. member who are currently waiting on interview date as I am, I'm not sure if you where aware but NVC had a little power outage earlier today, But anyways I decide to call DOS, to find out what's up... I called spoke with a very pleasant lady sound like an older person, well the fact and matter was she asked for my info which I give, she was on the phone reading something in her computer took a few min to answer me and gets back on the line and state "I'm sorry to tell you but the American Embassy in Santo Domingo is very busy and it looks like all the slot for January have been all filled, and for the looks of it February as well is getting full, so unfortunately you most likely will NOT get a Feb date".. I don't know how accurate this is but if you guys want to get it a shot, and see if you get told something different.. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting, As she told me "remember Santo Domingo is a very busy Embassy".
