CITIZENSHIP: 

Biometrics appointment for 2020-03-27 has been cancelled until further notice as all field offices are closed because of COVID-19.

***NOA dated 12/10/2020 USCIS stated they are able to reuse previous Biometrics***

Interview was easy. My hubby's Oath Ceremony is scheduled for February 25th. I can't watch >sad< but happy he is getting his certificate!

Yeah I really wasn't sure how to take that news. I feel like we would be quicker calling London ourselves and booking an interview. How long does it take to check availability!? I don't understand their system and why it has to take so long.

It does seem crazy that we the married folk can't schedule our own interviews. That we have to spend all these crazy amounts of money for postage (my package to MVC cost $156 and that was within the states. Husband tried 3 times to send me DS-230 documents that cost way over $500) to send them the most document sensitive information of our lives.

Most embassies allow K1's to go to their website and they can schedule at their leisure their interviews.

2 things NVC/DOS/Embassy needs to do. Every country needs to have electronic processing f you so choose to opt in than you should be able to its 2013 for goodness sake.

second we should be allowed to schedule our own appointments. We know what days work best why can't they allow us IR1/CR1 to do so.

Stop this precious document sending all over the world. I mean they send our cases to the embassy in diplomatic pouches they know how sensitive this info is if it falls into the wrong hands.

yep! call just few minutes after 11pm(eastern time) you have shorter wait time then too.

01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
04/19/2013: Interview; APPROVED!!!!!

This is great news, congrats! Hoping really hard that ours also comes later today!

Brief bio: "apple" is US citizen in Boston, "ginger" is Indian citizen in Kolkata.

Instructions

1. If you want your status to be added/updated, do not say "Please add me". Go ahead and edit it yourself. You do not need permission.
