Hi guys

Soon I will be moving to this forum from the US Citizen forum. I will be applying (hopefully) for a K-1 visa some time in January 2013. Anyone who is also applying in January, lets go through this together in this thread.

I sent in my I 129f in on Dec 31st, but I figure I fit in more with the January filers! Still haven't received NOA1... Praying for quick process for all!!

6/9/12- 2nd trip to Jamaica
11/18/12- 3rd trip to Jamaica

1/15/13- Alien registration number changed
2/27/13- 4th trip to Jamaica, 1st time with my daughter

5/24/13- Email/Text Notification that case was transferred to another office...

5/29/13- Email/Text Notification that case was transferred to local office....

5/30/13- Email/Text Notification that case was received and being processed at TSC...

6/19/13- 5th trip to Jamaica for my loves birthday!!

Good luck to you as well!! I bought delivery confirmation at USPS, but the woman at the post office did not give me the confirmation label or number, so I have not been able to track it. I sent mine priority on the 31st, scheduled to be there by the 2nd, but still no NOA1. What I would give right now, to know where my packet is!!! :(

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Yeah that sucks. I hate not knowing whats going on.

I had a bunch of the priority flat rate envelopes lying around (you can order them for free from USPS site) and just printed a label online. It's cheaper than doing it at the post office and you also get free delivery confirmation. Then I just gave it to the mail room at work and they sent it out together with all their other mail, so I didn't even go to the post office at all.

USPS tracking has been stuck at "Arrival at Post Office" in Dallas from January 07, 2013, 3:34 am

Does this mean it's delivered since it's going to a PO Box (which I assume is in the post office)? Or will it change to delivered when it's actually delivered? Haven't gotten any notification from USCIS yet either via SMS or email. How long does it usually take them to send a notification out after they receive it?

From what I've seen some people never get a SMS or email and have to wait for hard copy... :bonk:

Hi everyone, I sent my packet AGAIN Jan 5 due to USPS losing my packet :bonk: the first time I sent on Dec. 29. And now they called me to tell me my first packet has also just arrived in Lewisville. Leaving me with 2 packets at the lockbox. One with a cancelled check and another in good standing. I dont know what to do now!! :crying: Now :ot2: I wish everyone the best of luck.
