  1. bullet 3 from the following link: https://www.uscis.gov/i-134a “ Colombian, Cuban, Salvadoran, Guatemalan, Haitian or Honduran, or their immediate family member as part of the family reunification parole processes. Only individuals who received an invitation specifically inviting them to request to be a supporter and initiate the FRP process by filing Form I-134A may file. “
  2. Does visa journey have a special forum for FBP invitations and a timeline ( I.e filed I-130 on date X and received the FBP invitation on date Y ) ?
  3. Hello, Our goal: We want to petition for my wife's Colombian sister ( not married over the age of 18 ) and daughter ( under the age of 18 ) under 134a / FBT ( faster !! ) I have questions/clarification regarding 134a FBP ( July 2023 update ). "The NVC will email the invitation to petitioners" <-- To obtain a invitation we would need to start the I-130? ( we have not ) "Invitations will be sent on a rolling basis based on operational capacity, the expected period of time until the principal beneficiary’s immigrant visa becomes available, and in a consistent manner to ensure process integrity." <-- Because we have not started the I-130 ... did we miss the boat for the FBT? or do we still have a chance? Because my wife doesn't pay taxes via W2 but we file taxes jointly ( I work and obtain a W2) ... can she use my W2 / paystubs or would I need to "sign a separate form as a joint sponsor to meet the financial requirements." when filing the I-130? Could I petition for my sister in-law and bypass the extra paperwork ( joint sponsor) ? ( My assumption is no because uscis doesn't consider a in-law as immediate family? ) note: the quotes are from the uscis web site. Details .... I'm a US Citizen ( Husband ) who is married to a US citizen ( my wife ) who obtain US citizenship by starting with the K1 ( Me as the petitioner ) up to and completed the N-400. My wife was only a Colombian citizen when we started the K1. Currently she is a house wife / halftime student, I work full time and we file our taxes jointly. We want to petition for her Colombian sister ( not married over the age of 18 ) and daughter ( under the age of 18 ). Thank you!!!!
