Travel tickets - married name or single name?

My wife and I are traveling to Colombia in February. She is a conditional resident. We bought tickets through to Colombia using her married name (my last name). Do you think we will have any problems with this?

The name on her ticket should match her condiditonal card and passport.

The name needs to match the passport.

It has to match her passport. My mother's name on her passport is her maiden name while her permanent residence card has her married name. Her tickets have been always purchased under her passport name. She has been doing this for almost 40 years and has never had a problem.

Make sure she travel with marriage certificate to prove connection if question comes up

You purchase the tickets in her married name and you arrive at the airport. Since you are traveling outside the country, she must show her passport at check-in. Of wait, the ticket name does not match the passport. That's okay I can fix it. That will be $250 for a ticket change. As other have said, the travel documents MUST match the government issued ID used for travel--i.e. her passport for international travel. The GC is only good for re-entry to the US without a visa or using the VWP. You do not travel internationally using the GC any more than using a state issued DL.

Purchase the ticekts in the name in her passport and carry a copy of the Marriage Certificate to show that both names apply to the same person.

I read the responses, next time use green card name and state ID for domestic travel, and passport name for international. As said carry a coy of your marriage certificate. My wife and have never had an issue doing it that way.
