my wife and I don't have much evidence. I read in another thread that uscis requires evidence spanning the entire marriage. the only thing I can dig up that spans our marriage is our 2010 and 2011 tax returns. I can print up some bank statements, but the account we have now was open earlier this year. and I can probably get some statements from my previous bank on our account that we had closed, but whenever they sent us statements, they kept spelling my wife's name wrong despite the fact they kept telling that my wife's name was spelled correctly in their system.

also, I just added my wife to my best buy credit card account, but her name isn't on the statement. can I include a copy of my statement along with copies our credit cards?

I also have a statement from the YMCA, but it's our account closing statement. it doesn't state how long we've had membership with the Y, it just has our names on it together and the date our membership was cancelled. could I include that as well?

what about paycheck stubs? I have a few recent pay stubs that show we have the same address. are those usable?

and I do have a couple of health insurance statements, but my wife's name is different on them. she has yet to legally change her last name with my name, so she is still registered with uscis under her maiden name, but on the insurance statements they put her name with my last name. will that be ok? can we just put her name like that on "other names used" on the ROC form?

I also have a statement from the title company who has issued us the deed to our house, and it also has my wife's name with my last name on it.

you don;t have pictures together? boarding passes? visa stamps? hotel receipts to places you traveled together? You need to show a lot more than just co-mingling of finances.

 This is in the ROC forum, he is asking about ROC. Visa stamps and boarding passes are not evidence USCIS is looking for for ROC.

Your insurance is good, we also submitted cards addressed to both of us, your licences showing a same address.

What about anything associated with work, have you added her as a spouse on any work documents?

good luck

I'm the only one with a drivers license. she has yet to get hers. we've been so busy with work, and I with school, I hardly have had time to teach her to drive here in the US. and she's never driven in her life before when she lived in Indonesia because she was from Jakarta and she always used public transportation.

Damn right. Actually joint finances is what they are looking for mostly, in my opinion. If it were a sham marriage, one would be hesitant to give a co-ownership to the other person...

Слава Україні!
