Case Complete today!!!! Woo hoo!!! 9 working days on the dot! The woman said they couldn't get us a December interview because London Embassy is backed up. ( not that I was expecting that) She said something else about the interviews at the embassy but I was excited after she said case complete i was a goner. Im not too sure but I think she said they schedule interviews for the first two weeks of the month so she cant give me a date right now. I will call on Monday when I am a bit more calm.

Up until the IV bill we have done everything at our own pace, so don't freak out when you see our timeline. We had major financial difficulties which hindered us from going at a steady pace. We are now in a position to move forward. IV Bill and beyond will hopefully go quickly.

If a case is complete, why do we call NVC? all we can do is wait to be assigned an interview date, correct? or does calling help us get an earlier interview date? I'm hoping for case complete in 1-2 weeks.

OK - I spun my 12 sided dice - I say between 14th to 18th December, 2012. If it's earlier, burn some joss.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

In this entire process, there's actually absolutely ZERO reason to call NVC. None. Nada. The only reason it's suggested to call them is so you stay on top of things. You won't know your case is complete until an interview date is assigned if you don't call. Only those doing EP and a rare handful of those not get the case complete emails. There's no way to get a faster interview assigned unless you expedite. So, to sum up, if you don't care about not knowing when things happen when they happen, then sit back, and do something else.

sure- an email is sent for the interview letter IF

it's an EP case, headed to Guangzhou.

Note the NVC TeleOperators are NOT trained for EP cases, at all.

It's on you, to train them, each time.

So completed case will forward to guz n interview will be scheduled there ? Approximately how long will it take for them to schedule ? If we can get a day in January. That will be great.

How long should it take the NVC to respond to the emailed DS-3032? cuz I sent it last Saturday and still didn't hear anything :(

It takes around 1-2 weeks for a response. Be patient, it's not even been a week yet for you!

Sorry, I am confused. Help me out?

You do a paper submittal into NVC or an electronic submittal into NVC?

If electronic, NVC schedules the interview for GUZ IV, usually within 5 days of the 'final review' complete timetick, for 20 to 30 days in the future.

If paper, GUZ IV schedules the interview AFTER the physical casefile arrives in GUZ IV. It'll get scheduled within 3 weeks of GUZ IV opening the casefile, a letter is sent, for 20 to 45 days in the future.

So, what's what? Electronic Processing or no ?

TIA !
