when you call you must try your best to get to Tier 2 person :D

I've been pretty good at getting a Tier 2 Human, an ISO, for the past two months.

For those of you reading, here's the breakdown on what an ISO can do for ya (vs a CSR)

ISO - http://www.dhs.gov/files/publications/gc_1305658440339.shtm

hi,wat did u include in your expedite? medical certificate?

1. letter (from me) requesting expedite, giving the medical reasons and surgery schedule

2. letter from my doctor about the upcoming surgery

3. diagnosis from doctor on official office letterhead

4. MRI printouts

5. xray printouts

6. receipt for handicapped parking sticker

7. medicine receipts

8. all payment receipts from doctor

9. prescription sheets from doctor

10. prescription sheet (I kid you not) for the handicapped parking sticker

all of this stuff was paperclipped together, paperclipped right under the cover letter.

I know nothing about a 'medical certificate' - perhaps this is some colloquial label for something region specific?

sorry, the final version ;)

1. letter (from me) requesting expedite, giving the medical reasons and surgery schedule

2. letter from my doctor about the upcoming surgery

3. diagnosis from doctor on official office letterhead

4. MRI printouts

5. xray printouts

6. receipt for handicapped parking sticker

8. all payment receipts from doctor

9. prescription sheets from doctor

10. prescription sheet (I kid you not) for the handicapped parking sticker

all of this stuff was paperclipped together, paperclipped right under the cover letter.

On the outside of the mailing packing, I scrawled, in big letters -

I-130 for IR-1

Expedite - Medical

then in the 'thing' that held all of the documents, I had a sheet printed in big letters 'I-130 for IR-1. Expedite - Medical. Petitioner: PetitionerName. Beneficiary: BeneficiaryName

My hope is that someone will see the expedite request and act on it by the end of the month. I am sore about these case transfer thingies, as it will slow down any expedite intake/review.

I know nothing about a 'medical certificate' - perhaps this is some colloquial label for something region specific?

What is I was going to ask what the msc number meant.

Sorry on the phone and can't edit: I meant to say, what the msc part of the number means. I can search when I get home too. :)

For everyone wondering:

I called the USCIS today, as I cannot locate my receipt number on "My Case Status". I spoke to a specialist that checked on my case and said it was received is being processed. All is fine. He told me that they have an issue/bug with cases not showing up until about 45 days after initial receipt on the My Case status website. He also mentioned that this is only a convenience bug, that the cases are unaffected by this, and not to worry about your case. If after about 2 months you still don't see your case in my case status, I guess try giving them a call, i'll see if my case shows up in late-november. good.gif
