Got my biometrics appt on 11/23/12! Someone please help me update my status in the script.

PACIENCIA Y FE - we have same day NOA 1 & appt. That is cool! Maybe we receive the GC same day too! haha :star:

Hoping for some more VJ'er to chime in with there opinions or expert advise.

I see a lot of people to update the list for the ones who need help in formatting but not really any one to can help in getting suggestions/advice.

Hi , May be they dont know about your problem so they can't help you out. They can't give you wrong information which they dont know. You need to wait & watch unless somebody will give you right advice.

those people up in vermont... they prob go on 45 min coffee breaks, twice a day... 90 min lunch breaks... and 15 min cig break every other hour... and work 9am-4pm...

Haha...yeah, probably true. However they adjudicate all of the "MESS" that a lot of people send in and more than likely non of us will have interviews so all in all it is not a big deal. I think ROC is the easiest part of immigration, assuming no hiccups in processing. I feel like there is really nothing to do but just keep on with everyday life and check in once in awhile on status. :innocent::whistle:

Nov 6, 2009: "I had breakfast in Korea, lunch in Shanghai, and dinner in Chongqing...now I just need to find a squat toilet..."

Got my biometrics appt on 11/23/12! Someone please help me update my status in the script.

PACIENCIA Y FE - we have same day NOA 1 & appt. That is cool! Maybe we receive the GC same day too! haha :star:

Too funny! AND we're both NY-based AND we have slightly similar member names (paciencia is spanish for patience). :D

Ok folks I am getting antsy and almost ready to call. Sent package USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation on the 19th. It was delivered to the USCIS Vermont Center on the 22nd. Address used was:USCIS Vermont Service Center

75 Lower Welden Street, P.O. Box 200, St. Albans, VT 05479-0001 per the instructions.

Wondering if USPS makes a difference vice using FedEx or UPS. Still no check cashed or NOA 1.

I also wonder how closely they look at the package before cashing the check and issuing the NOA 1. I had to explain why my K2 stepdaughter was not included in the petition. I adopted her and enclosed a copy of her US passport to show she was now a US citizen and didn't need to remove conditions.

Well, USCIS sent the entire package back. They insist that my K2 stepdaughter must pay biometrics. They ignored the fact that she is now a US citizen. I attached a letter explaining her adoption, a copy of the adoption decree, and a copy of her US passport. Waiting for tier 2 now and p1ssed.

Hi All,

I successfully completed a walk in biometrics today in Oakland, CA. Maybe about 20 people in the ASC.

The fingerprinter informed me "Your 10 year card will be mailed to you soon." Which I thought was odd. I don't believe she really could know anything specific about my case. So I asked "err...what about an interview?" and she said "I don't think so, keep an eye on your mail"

I still expect to be selected for an interview regardless but that was sort of strange!

Same here. Wife successfully completed her Biometrics today. In and out 10 minutes. The staff person said that my wife would receive her 10 year green card before her current green card expires in December. I hope so, but wait is 7-8 months right now based on processing times.
