I'm so glad we dotted our i's and crossed our t's.

Now it seems CBP has not done it's job.... What now? Who do we contact? He needs an SSN, for that we need the I-94 - which we don't have - and his sealed envelope which we waited so long for has never been opened. Isn't it supposed to be sent somewhere?

The nightmare continues....

Go back immediately to his POE or your nearest deferred inspection site and give them the sealed envelope and get his I-94. You can even call ahead if you wish, but you need to get this done ASAP: http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/contacts/deferred_inspection/

OH YEA!!!! PRONTO!!!!

The CBP (Customs and "Burro" Patrol) doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed, if you get my meaning. But, you need to get the I-94 processed by those neanderthals rapidly, or it could be real bad news later on in your immigration journey.

Good luck!
