All I can say is I thank God I ordered a rubber stamp with case# and our full names on it. Yes I did people. :-) okay go......

So question on packet formation..did you stamp ALL the documents? including the ds-230 itself and marriage and birth certs? or just the copies?

Also, should we follow the same guidelines from uscis (such as using acco clips, etc?)

I don't have the DS-230 packet from husband yet. But I will stamp the form yes but will not touch the original documents (Birth certificate, marriage certificate or police report). Since that has all his name on it away no need. they can stamp that. Don't want them freakin.

And yes same guidelines as USCIS. I used a lot of those binder claps and paperclips. This package here is massive but needed. What can I say this is Lagos.

Remember, the whole point of putting one's case number on all forms and documents is in case the paper gets misplaced and needs to be re-united with the case. Although having a name on the document will help, ultimately, it would be better if the case number was on it too. Now, I of course don't suggest stamping original/certified copies of documents. But what I do suggest is the following: use a STICKY NOTE. Write the case number on that and attach it to the document. That way, you can simply take off the sticky note and there's no remaining mark on the document.

Only those in the EP program get the case complete email. Otherwise, you need to call to find out.

OK, Just received an RFE from NVC requesting another BC!! I dont understand when I know for a fact that I sent in the correct BC!! whom should I speak with at NVC?
