Looks ok... I just skimmed through it.

When you send it, make you sure get tracking information and photo copy or scan every single document that you will send just incase the package gets lost in the mail.

Good luck!!!

Great advice!

We mailed our AOS packets on 17 Aug., the USPS receipt confirmation was dated on 20 Aug. We got email and text notification from USCIS on 31 Aug. The check has yet to be tendered to my bank for payment. Hopefully, the official Form I-797 receipt notices will show up within ten days. We made a paper copy and a CD copy of ALL of the contents of the packets (including the check).

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

If she had all the required vaccinations at the time of her medical and they are marked off on the DS-3025, then that is fine. See this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/335754-ds-3025-complete-or-not/page__p__4971318#entry4971318

The fees for the I-765 (EAD) and the I-131 (AP) are both waived when filing with a pending I-485. The total is $1070 with or without filing the I-765 and I-131. You should go ahead and file the I-131 too. You never know if something might arise that would make her need to leave the US while waiting for her green card approval. The form is short and easy to fill out and free, so why not? See this thread as a reminder as to why you should file for the AP too, even if you have no travel plans: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/371023-help-please-death-in-the-family/

Do I need to submit 3 certified copies of our marriage certificate as my wife is applying for EAD & AP or just 1 certified copy + 2 photocopies?

We are sending copies of all the pages of her passport do we still need to send separate copies of visa page, Bioagraphic etc.

Thanks a ton!

You can send 1 certified copy + 2 photocopies, that's what I did. The IO gave me back the certified copy during the interview...

One G-1145 on top of the package is enough, not 3.

I only send copy of my visa + I-94 + biographical page.

Before sending your package, I suggest you scan each page of it (+ the check), and save the whole thing in a pdf file, or 3 (one for AOS, EAD and AP). It takes time but then it's easy to print later if you want. :)

Why are you sending copies of all the pages in her passport? That is not needed. You just need the bio page, K-1 visa page and entry stamps.

You can send only photocopies of your marriage certificate with your forms. Bring the actual certified copy you got from the court to your interview, if you have one.

*** Thread moved from main AOS forum to AOS Case Filing -- OP's & others' posts pertain to filing. ***

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
