2/3/12 - Visa App Fee Check Cashed

6/18/12 - NOA2 Email Received at 9PM MST

6/22/12 - NOA2 Letter Received in Mail

7/11/12 - NVC Received

7/13/12 - NVC Sent Case to Moldova Embassy

7/18/12 - Packet 3 dropped off to Embassy

7/19/12 - Packet 3 & 4 Instructions Received from Embassy

7/23/12 - Medical Exam Passed

7/27/12 - Interview

8/4/12 - POE Denver, CO

9/14/12 - Wedding #1 (Denver Courthouse)

The only thing under your control is to submit your application without any error. Once you send it out you have absolutely no control on how fast it gets processed.

Really no way to speed up the process. While waiting just make sure u r gettin documents together for the next stage. Preparation is the only thing that is on ur side.

How can this process move quicker? Any ideas? I have not filed anything yet as am planning on end of October. But 5-6 months for approval is longtime.

Nothing you can control, you are filing for CR1, you have a longer than 5 month wait than a K-1. You need to make sure that you follow the guidelines here double check your paperwork, send plenty of evidence.

Be prayed up, it is the luck of the draw. You only are processed at CSC according to your state. You listed Dallas as your local office. If you live in Texas, you will be processed in Vermont.

5 tp 6 months is just getting through USCIS. You still have the next step being set to embassy for interview and all that paperwork. Porbaby more like 6 to 8 months. If you don't get sent to VSC. But nothing you can do. Unless you qualify for an expedite which is well life or death kind of things really.

Thanks for advice. I wish they had some sort of fee to speed things up. I would be all over that.

K1.. you should really read about it. To adjust from K1 is approximately 8-9 months. Adjustment of status costs $1070.

We did the K1 and if I could do it over, I would do CR1. More efficient.

You cannot file for K-1 if you are already married.

there is no way to tell who is going to be faster at the time you file. When we filed, the average wait was 3.5 to 4 months @ VSC, now its closer to 200 days than anything
