We talk everday by internet using cams and microphones. But, if by some chance we can't I call him. Sometimes I call just for a few minutes even after seeing him already that day online.

After the hurricane hit here last year it was really hard. He called my cell phone a few times. Because I was evacuated I would use someones pc to leave him messages also.

We have only a 2 hour difference between us right now. We used to talk about 8 or 10 hours a day when Dave was only working at the pizza place. We talked all night using the webcam. Now, he got 2 other jobs delivering papers... so it's impossible to talk for that long!

When he gets home at 9pm his time, I'm already home from work so we connect the webcam and start talking until 1am his time... then he has to deliver the 1st paper and gets home at about 3:30.. so we talk again until we both fall asleep... which gives us about 1 more hour.

I call him a few times during the day too, when I can. :luv:

We;re so tight, we communicate telepathically

We have 12 or 13 hours difference depends on the time of the year, but it doesn't bother us. we talk on yahoo (voice & video chat) everyday when he gets home from work at his 12:30am until his 3am and on weekends we start at his 10 or 11pm til his 4am, and he calls me everymorning to wake me up, he's at work when he calls.

We're only two hours apart, but lately he's been working out of (his) town, so phone calls have been limited to about half an hour or so a night as he's about 300 miles away from his e-mail or computer access.

We chat online all day at work, there's five hours difference between us but I work 8 - 5 and he works evenings so we're at work many of the same hours. Then I come home and we talk some more. Then I drag myself away to do work or something, then I come back and we talk some more before bed. He stays up pretty late. :)

And if I'm not online, he can call my cellphone or we can text each other.

No time difference but our work schedules are getting in the way recently. Before, we skyped constantly when he was not working and I working from home. Now, minimal time to talk in the morning on Skype because he's leaving for work. Sometime if I'm awake after midnight when he gets home, we try to talk but it's minimal cause we are both tired. It's getting harder and harder to find time when we are both awake and functioning with spare time to talk. And we have a LONG way to go . . .

First off, she lives in an area with poor cell signal, and there is no land line, so talking on the phone is out, unless it's really important. Nearly all of our communication is by SMS text message. For 2 years we've had to get by with only a couple of messages each every day, due to the cost. But since I recently was able to get chikka working on my computer, I can text here all I want for free and she can reply for 1.5 pesos. So we're now exchanging about 24 messages every day. I send here a good morning text at 5 pm, which is 8 am there, and we exchange a few messages. Then there is a lull for several hours while she tends to chores. Then around 3 am my time (6 pm for her) she's ready for dinner and sends me a text, waking me (I have to leave my computer on all night). And we'll "chat" for a couple of hours until she goes to bed.

It's okay that we can't talk live to each other. She doesn't like talking much in English anyway, and I'm not yet proficient in Tagalog or Ilocano. Neither of us is a big talker.
