I reveived my NOA2 last week and decided to give NVC a call today to see if a Case # was generated yet..she told me YES! Coincidentally today it was just generated and that they were still working on my case. I know the IIN # is also needed but when i asked she said not yet?? That I should be receiving an email soon. Also I thought at this time we would provide both the beneficiary and petitioner emails but she never asked and only has my email. Do I need to call back and provide my husbands email?? Or do I wait for this email I am said to receive in a few days??? Im CONFUSEDDD :blush:

Call back. Every agent is different. Call back, don't wait for them to ask you for anything. ASK for the IIN and provide your email as well as your's SO. Seems like a case number is taking forever these days so consider yourseld VERY lucky! :thumbs:

11/14/2011 - Petition received by NVC/ Received NOA2 by mail
11/21/2011 - NVC case # received by email/ Got AOS fee by email/ Called NVC to provide beneficiary email
11/27/2011 - Choice of agent (DS-3023) sent to NVC by email
.....took a break from process to delay interview....
01/26/2012 - Payed IV fee
01/27/2012 - IV fee status shown as PAID
02/07/2012 - Payed AOS fee
02/08/2012 - AOS fee status shown as PAID
02/09/ 2012 - DS-230 package sent to NVC (priority mail)
03/06/2012 - AOS package sent to NVC (priority mail)
03/12/2012 - Called NVC and found out about checklist. Sent revision to NVC that same day.
03/16/2012 - CASE COMPLETE!
04/11/2012 - Informed of interview via phone by DOS/ Got P4 email from NVC a few hours later that same day (May 4th)

05/04/2012 - Interview (APPROVED)
05/10/2012 - Visa ready and picked up at domex
05/15/2012 - POE in Boston (together)

05/29/2012 - Went to SS office to apply for SS card
06/01/2012 - Welcome letter arrived (Received about 3 of these)
06/05/2012 - Green card arrived
06/15/2012- Back to SS office with green card to reapply and inquire about delay
06/18/2012 - Picked up SSN at SSA office
06/22/2012 - SS card arrived by mail

04/24/14 - Sent I-751 to remove conditions

06/09/14 - Biometrics

11/2014 - RFE from USCIS requesting more evidence before approval

Late Jan - Sent further evidence of marriage

03/05/2015 - Got letter of approval for removal of conditions

03/15/2015 - Permanent 10 yr green card received via mail

when you receive your case number they will send you an email with the choice of agent form for the beneficiary to complete online. At that time it will ask for email addresses. Good luck.

It seems that while VSC is slower for NOA1 - NOA2, they are better organized than CSC. Doing things right probably makes the process for sending to NVC quicker in the long run. That's great! :thumbs:

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.”

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

I sure would like to know their process as far as when they send cases off to NVC. Is it weekly bundle up the weeks worth on Friday or what. And really 15 days to 6 weeks to get a case number. NVC use to be 6 months ago fast fast no matter. Of course I am only on day 6 so I need to be quiet.
