Welcome citizen. Congratulations.

They're not a citizen until AFTER the Oath ceremony. This is very important to realise. You don't want to start calling yourself a citizen until you have that paperwork in your hot little hand. There was a post in the last couple of months where a gentleman had applied for a job only for USC's the DAY before his USC interview. He didn't think it was an issue because he would "be a citizen the next day" and was denied for claiming to be a USC when he wasn't a USC... He was reminded he is NOT a citizen by passing the test, he's a citizen ONLY after taking the oath.

I understand your sentiment but just a warning :)

You seriously think people go around calling each other "citizen" and don't mean US citizen in the USC forum? It's quite obvious the person was welcoming you as a citizen. That doesn't make you guilty of anything nor does it put you in trouble, I was just warning them for when their time comes (or anyone else reading) that it's the oath ceremony that makes someone a USC, not just passing the test.

Nobody call him or herself a us citizen. Read my forum.

Where is "your forum" for me to read? This is a thread that you posted in the US citizenship forum. Is that what you mean? Using the incorrect word can get you into trouble or cause confusion, exactly the point I was making.
