Im confused, are a US citizen trying to bring him to the US?

She's a USC living in the UK as an overstay on her tourist visa. She's trying to sort out her status over there. I believe at one point she was trying to bring her husband to the US on a CR1 but they've abandoned that.

Seriously, as Harpa Timsah suggested earlier, Fertility Awareness Method.

A woman is only fertile for 12-24 HOURS every month, during ovulation. Sperm cannot survive for more than 5 days. So you can basically only get pregnant during one week, tops, per month. Figure out when you ovulate and abstain the preceding week and, voilà, no unplanned pregnancy.

It's really a shame that women aren't taught more about their bodies. And that more of the burden of birth control isn't placed on the sex that's fertile 7 days/week, 365 days/year.....

They're in each other all along.”

Yeah, it's too bad such a good thing is so easily ignored, or dismissed, as well.

At one point yes .. I'm the US citizen and he's British.

He used to live in California, and got into some trouble

with the law and was deported in 1996.

When he explained the severity of his crimes, I realized

after we'd filed the I-130 that USCIS probably wouldn't

welcome him back to the USA with open arms.

I don''t know the legalities of it in the UK but you might be able to get birth control pills online.

As Holly and I have pointed out several times above, there are free family planning services available in the UK that she can obtain. No need to order the pill online and wonder about legalities (and possibly ineffective or even dangerous pills) if it's available locally and free of charge at the point of access.

Indeed ... I managed to track down 'C.A.S.H.' in one of

the larger medical centers here in my town.

It's the Contraception And Sexual Health department.

They asked me to call back for an appointment after

the long bank holiday (for The Jubilee stuff).

I explained my situation and my current status here in

England, and they felt sure they could assist me

Thank you ... everyone .... for the variety of viewpoints

and advice (F)

It still doesn't leave me very happy in my mind on my man's

view of pregnancy and hospitals and such, but in the mean

time ... it seems I can at least control stuff on my end

until me and him can start seeing eye-to-eye on these issues.
