If you have 1 million+ to invest, and will be employing US citizens, it is easy to get a visa.

Otherwise very, very difficult. Why do you need to be there to open a store? Ie why not just advice your US friend over Skype?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

EB-5 visa is for you. But you will need the money of $1.000.000 ready and you will have to employ 10 USC/ Permanent Residents/ Legal to work aliens for full-time jobs. And you have to act fast, this visa ends this September.

Sorry, you can't just experiment because you want to...You either invest serious amount of money or go experiment somewhere else - that simple...

Otherwise - billions of people experimenting...
