Omer, you are the beneficiary correct? It is very common in middle eastern countries for males to undergo additional administrative processing. From what I understand you can do nothing but wait, I would check out your regional portal on this forum, and discuss with others in similar situations, I think there might be a section about administrative processing.

Yes I am beneficiary My fiancée was with me .....they asked many questions co was very friendly ....then he was like plz have a seat and took our engagement album after some time he called and gave back then said every thing is fine... But we want some additional processing ..with blue sheet .. It takes

Upto two months may b less may b more ...he . Didn't even ask us for affidavite of support i-134 or any other supporting documents ....now I don't knw what should I do ....

did they keep your passport? I don't know, as I said earlier, you should talk to others in the same situation, go to this part of the forum here:http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/113-waivers-i-601-and-i-212-and-administrative-processes-221g/

you will find more information about your situation here, from what I've read Omer, this is not uncommon for middle eastern males to be placed on AP after interview, it can take weeks or months, but it is not unusual, I don't understand it much myself, so best to talk to those that do.

best of luck.

Yes they kept my passport ....and said we don't want any thing from u just ap....!

Omer, everyone goes through AP after interview approval. Certain countries have a longer AP (Administrative Processing) period than others. That is when they go through further review of your petition and information you submitted. This can take from 2 weeks to 1 year. If they kept your passport, it is a good sign of approval. You just are in another longer waiting period. Good Luck!!

Thanks!!

I wont lie to you, the closer you get, the harder it gets. I was going crazy the last few days before he arrived. But once you are finially together all of the stress, loneliness dissapears. Now it seems like it really wasn't that long. All the work, stress, time apart was all worth it.

Just keep busy and things will go faster than you expect.

it is hard, harder the closer you get (IMO), but you are so close, and like Patty said, once you are there, you forget about the time it took and the distance and separation. c'mon Lucy, the quicker you get your package 3 together, the quicker you will get an interview.

Thanks you guys :) just can't wait to be in your situation! I'm waiting on some paperwork from my co-sponsor so can't send back package 3 just yet but might do it anyway if there's a 6 week wait to find out the interview date!

Well guys, my fiance's interview is tomorrow! however, I am nervous b/c he hasn't received the orginal notarized I-134, he has a scanned version. The day he received the letter from the embassy I mailed off the notarized copy by priority. I am just trying to stay positive and hopefully they wont send him away and reschedule the interview at a later date.
