They sent Packet 3 to me? That's it, I'm convinced these people don't know how addresses and mail systems work.

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd keep you posted. Maria had to go into the ER. According to her 'doctor' the drugs he was giving her was 'experimental'. I say that loosely because he never told us that is was experimental!!!

It has had an adverse affect on her and instead of reducing the fluid from her system it has increased! She was in hospital last weekend as they were draining the fluid out of her brain and testing the enzymes to see if there is another tumour growing again.

She has another appointment this weekend, so I have decided to fly over this Friday (21st) until the new year so I can look after her and be there for Christmas and my birthday (1st time for both yay!)

I will try and keep everyone posted, but if I don't I hope y'all (trying to be Southern!!) have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Congrats on those who have made it this far!! It does bring me a little joy and hope that my comrades are getting through this process! I am hoping to get my packet when I come home (YEAH RIGHT!!!!) :bonk:

Last week of January! He's here for Christmas and I quit my job. I need time to finish work and pack my things and process that I'm leaving my family for good. So relieved! I was a nervous wreck. 2 and a half hours I Waite for the interview. But it's such a great feeling!!!!

I know exactly how that feels. We had to wait about 2 hours and I was a wreck when we finally got called to the window...he was worse than me. lol

Went back to work today :crying: Left hubby at home alone.

Sucks, doesn't it. I had to go back 2 days after he arrived and have been super busy at work with all the year end stuff. This week is much better and I'm off all of next week :dance:

He went to apply for his SSN yesterday. He had to make a 2nd trip, didn't know he needed his Birth Certificate. Oh well, it was only 10 miles from home and it kept him busy. They said he'll receive his card in 10 days. Now he's studying to get his driver's license. haha

Wedding planning is in full swing. All the things we couldn't do until he was approved now have to be done and quickly. Our friends are throwing us an engagement party this weekend. I still have to pinch myself everyday to know this is real.

And then there is Christmas shopping....ugh. I've barely started and the last thing I want to do right now. Looks like I'll be giving a lot of gift cards this year. haha

Congrats on all the recent progress with you all.

Brock, I hope your fiance will be OK. I am glad you guys will be spending the holidays together. Hope you have great news waiting for you once you're back.

I am still waiting on NVC to receive my packet. I've been calling everyday this week, but they haven't received it yet. I got my NOA2 on Dec. 10th. Is it normal that they haven't received it yet? I've seen that for most of you they received it within 4-5 days. hmmm. I actually got used to always being slow with my processings lol. I guess I just have to be patient.
