January CSC Transfers

Ugh! I am kind of torn about finding this thread because on one hand, it's good to know that our K1 AOS is in the same boat as others around here but on the other, c'mon CSC. We filed in January and currently have our last touch on February 13th. I noticed that the official processing times right around the time we filed originally had "3 months" for the I-485 and that now it has a date of "September 18th, 2007". I am wondering the reasoning behind this.

December filer here, got transferred in January. Not whining though, - got job, driving around, it's 85 degrees and just came back from looking at houses. I'm not limited anymore so right now, a day longer is just a day more until ROC/more paperwork.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

I'm in the same boat - have my EAD, have been working for months, am getting on with my life while USCIS does its nonsense. I'd just really like to hear something soon, since all they have to do is review my very simple RFE response.

Ugh. So tired of this!!!

I COULDN'T AGREE MORE! We had our transfer to the CSC in the first week of Feb...its disheartening to know that people who filed a full month before us are still waiting! And it bothers me that there is no real info about processing times out there - even on the official site - just random timelines here, like you said earlier.

Luckily my husband has his AOS and a summer seasonal job...but I'm gonna be so mad if we don't have that permanent card by the Fall!! I know people aren't supposed to judge based on your immigrations status - but after applying for literally 50+ jobs, and having so many many rejections (even after getting interviews) I can't help but wonder if his temp status was a deterrent...grrr. :protest: Sorry, we are fortunate he found work...but thats my little side topic about why I just want us to get the dang greencard already! ;)

And I just hate having our future hanging the balance because of slow processing at the dang CSC :ranting:

According to the USCIS, the last one they did was January 14, 2011

Well I wish that really meant we were close, but I don't see it.
