guess next processing time update won't move either

My thoughts exactly... And since the data they show is always a couple of months old, it looks like the June update is also not going to bring us any good news.

My F2A/IR-1 journey:

USCIS:
4 August 2011: I-130 sent (while husband permanent resident)
8 August 2011: Priority date
16 April 2013: NOA2

NVC:

7 May 2013: Case number received, DS-3032 sent

15 May 2013: AOS bill received and paid

16 May 2013: AOS package sent

17 May 2013: DS-3032 accepted

20 May 2013: IV bill received and paid

21 May 2013: IV package sent

11 June 2013: response to IV checklist sent

That's crazy

I have a theory on this - I wonder if I-130 petitions from permanent residents are all currently sitting in a box in Vermont because they have been using their resources on I-485 filings from China and India EB2 applicants. If you look at the January visa bulletin, the Department of State was trying to create more demand in this category by advancing the cut-off date rapidly. This was successful, i.e. they seem to have received a high volume of adjustment of status cases, since as of June the category is now unavailable. This could potentially mean that as of June, USCIS can devote resources on F2A petitions again.

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up with this since this is just my own speculation and it could be totally wrong. I really don't know enough about how USCIS works and how they divide their resources between different types of filings, but I wanted to share my theory with you in case someone else can offer their thoughts on this.

Good luck to all VSC filers, let us know (and don't forget to update your timeline) when you get your NOA2!

EAC1290269XXX range from 182-203, only 190 had been approved on 6/12/12. They are all i-130. tracking 21 case only 1 approved. :(

im not sure if it is a f2a visa, but i am a usc petitioning for my wife.

my cousin is a permanent resident who petition his wife. it took him about 3 years.

Nothin Athena..

VSC has update their 1-130 current time processing to Jan 16, 2011. only moved 1week after soooo many months! :angry::crying:

next month my husband will contact them again coz my PD soon going to be 1year sit quietly in one of their boxes without no further action.

So sad.. while our friends in other service center already been approved. and facing NVC process now.. :crying:
