Hello guys,

I have good news. My best friend is f2a and he called to nvc and the operator said him that they send the i797 but he hasn't received nothing and they said him too that it is strange because the current date is september 2011 and His pd is May 24/2011. Finally they said him that he have to wait a few days and if he hasn't received the letter he have to call them again.

The cases processing decreased from 12 month to 6 month in one day. It was of 12 months yesterday but today it is 5.9 months. Check the status of yours cases, maybe they have just updated yours cases. Good luck. God is with you.

sooooo weeeiiiirrdddd!!!:blink::wacko:, from 1year to 6month. and still no approval for my application. my PD is july 22nd. my husband called USCIS couple days ago, and they put us in SR and we have to wait about 15days for the next info. hopefuly a good one! keep have faith keep believing..

I just received an email reply for my service request from USCIS Vermont. Probably they will send the letter as well in a day or two

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has reviewed your request to expeditiously process your I-130 preference petition. Because a visa is not immediately available at this time, USCIS will not expedite your petition because a benefit is not immediately available.

My wife's priority date is 6/16/2011

Citizenship (2014):

May-10-2014.... Application mailed out , through USPS express mail.

May-12-2014.... Application package delivered.

May-15-2014.....Check Cashed by USCIS

June-02-2014....Biometrics (walk in) syracuse field office

June-04-2014....Actual Biometrics appointment date

June-04-2014....in line for interview scheduling

Aug -19-2014....Interview

This is now the second time USCIS has made a mistake like this since we filed our petition. They really need to be more careful when publishing processing times; not only for our sake but also in order for them not to get snowed under thousands of service requests from hopeful applicants.

Good luck to everyone, I hope we'll see some (real) movement in the processing dates this month.

I also felt that they could have apologised for having published the wrong dates, although I didn't really expect them to. On a positive note, I was impressed that they replied so quickly.

We received the reply by email, I don't know if they'll also send it by post.
