Hi JNEKG! Re your 1st question, just keep calling the NVC every day or as often as you can. They will keep giving you the standard line until someone sees that your case # has been assigned. We got our case # about 2 days after we were told to call back in 10 days.

Re your 2nd question: the IV fee of $404 actually is $330 for the application, and a $74 security fee (or something like that). Check it out on the NVC website here: Fees for Visa Services

I have asked a couple of times but I got no answer. Is it preferable to send in the AOS and IV package by mail or you can just send them as an attachment by e mail? I would appreciate an answer. Thanks.

greece doesn't participate in any NVC EP program, so concept of 'attachment by e mail' will not work for you.

No, not the NVC only the embassy. I'm sure the staff at the embassy over here loves their job, they have all the swedish holidays off and we have alot of them!

And No,no interview date yet. I doubt I'll hear anything this coming week either, with the easter holiday and all. Besides I only got my CC last week, I'm sure I'll be wating like everyone else :clock:

Ahh yes I am wondering is the embassy in DR will be closed to due to this. I assumed no since it's the American embassy and they don't really celebrate semana santa like they do in Latin America. But even if they do close, doesn't it not matter anyway since NVC is going to be scheduling your interiew? I'm sure NVC wont close.

Embassies and Consulates will close on national holidays of the country they are located in as well as American federal holidays.

The NVC will be operating as normal, national holidays in other countries do not affect their operations as they will already have access to the calender dates that are open for interviews.

Happy Sunday to you too! Just got home from church....found out that Friday's going to be busy! My worship team is on Friday AND Sunday...and the Good Friday service ends just at the same time I need to go pick up Travis from the airport. Hooray! :D What instruments do you play?

NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).
