clickie link things are easier than attempting to send papers to syria, and having them sent back, wouldn't you agree? And to be quite honest....I read all of her link things.....and to be blunt.....they still dont answer my question.

Syria requires ep. Embassy in syria is closed as of Feb. 6. All are sent to Amman, Jordan. Who does not require ep. But if I request interview at Lebanon, they do not do ep. That is where my question stems. So, do I follow the ep cos of Syria, or no because they are closed? I honestly don't think anyone knows this answer, I will just have to see what NVC instructs me to do.

You might have a bigger problem, alas.

Lebanon? Palestine? Aren't all IV interviews handled in Israel?

Regardless, please to contact a NVC Supervisor, explain all, get their input.

My apologies for seeming crass and rude, earlier - all get that , not just you.

Suddenly! AOS is showing as "not paid" which isn't what it was saying up until last night. My husband checked his bank account and the $88 hasn't been withdrawn... Even though it showed as paid and I sent our package the same

night it was approved. What the fuuuuck

I just checked the "Receipts" section of the payment portal, and our AOS fee has been rejected?

Just spoke with an operator... could have been a typo, could have been an issue with the bank, could have been because he didn't use IE ( ) We'll probably end up having the same issue with our IV fee. Would I have to re-send my packages? This is stupid <_< She said that their records show it went straight from Pending to Rejected, which makes no f*cking sense since I was sent the AOS e-mail package and it showed as PAID online. I wish these people had an office I could go to to speak with someone face to face so they could get a taste of my Canadian passive aggressive rage.

 + + =

IDK what these images mean...haha

So we got our First 2 emails from NVC.

1) From NVC sent to petitioner with beneficiary cc'd + a 6 pages attachement file

2) From NVC sent to beneficiary with petitioner cc'd + a 4 pages attachment file (didn't have the AOS bill invoice as the #1)

Im thinking why they didn't include the AOS bill invoice in their email to the beneficiary is because they received our DS-3032 email or simply from the call i made in which i gave both email addresses.

hmm i'm not sure which one triggered this but it's gotta be the ds-3032 email because it said in the #1) email that "The immigrant visa petition filed on behalf of <Beneficiary name> has become eligible for further processing at the National Visa Center (NVC)."

...

The reason the beneficiary doesn't get the AOS invoice is because the AOS is meant to be paid by the petitioner with a US banking account. It has NOTHING to do with a DS-3032 being emailed or anything else.

And the bit about the petitioner becoming eligible for further processing has nothing to with the DS-3032 email either. It's just saying a case number was assigned and processing can continue (onwards from the I-130 petition).

Suddenly! AOS is showing as "not paid" which isn't what it was saying up until last night. My husband checked his bank account and the $88 hasn't been withdrawn... Even though it showed as paid and I sent our package the same

night it was approved. What the fuuuuck

Wow, that sucks. Seems reminiscent of what happened to rujby blink.gif I hope the repayment goes through again. After you pay, and it shows PAID, call up an operator and ask if you have to re-send the documents. I don't see why you would, but who knows.

Quick question that I haven't seen anybody ask lately: Did NVC get rid of their AVR (Automated Voice Response) System? ... I remember you could call at anytime (24/7) and the AVR would work, but now it doesn't even come up. Just curious

It seems like starting last week, the complete phone system went wonky. At first, when trying to get into the AVR, it would re-direct to an operator. Now, it seems, you get put through to an operator right away. I have no idea what NVC is doing headbonk.gif

I know I ought not panic... but it is hard not too....

NVC just told me they have already scheduled all days in April and we're going to have to wait until May. I'm going to be told that now every time I call aren't I?

Don't listen to them when they say so-and-so month is completely full. It makes sense that March is full (being that it's the current month), but don't believe them about April. Just keep calling everyday yes.gif You'll get an April date!

clickie link things are easier than attempting to send papers to syria, and having them sent back, wouldn't you agree? And to be quite honest....I read all of her link things.....and to be blunt.....they still dont answer my question.

Syria requires ep. Embassy in syria is closed as of Feb. 6. All are sent to Amman, Jordan. Who does not require ep. But if I request interview at Lebanon, they do not do ep. That is where my question stems. So, do I follow the ep cos of Syria, or no because they are closed? I honestly don't think anyone knows this answer, I will just have to see what NVC instructs me to do.

Yeah, take Darnell's advice and call to speak with a supervisor. You have to figure out if you're going to be assigned a Syria case number or not. If you're assigned a Syria one, you might still be able to do EP, despite going through another embassy. Either way, ask a supervisor what embassy you'll be going through, and figure out what the process will be relating to EP and/or online forms. Good luck!
