Comments : My husband just had his interview, and I am just too excited to sleep! His appointment was for 7:30, he was done at 9:30. He said the lady was very nice. He brought most papers with him, including all pictures and proof of relationship. She asked about my boss....if it was man or woman. (odd question, and he knew the answer...didnt realize I ever spoke of it) She asked about my kids, how many and how old. Then she asked how many times I went to visit him.

Thats it. She smiled, said he was approved and kept his passport! Said go to aramex and pay, will have visa in 1-2 weeks.

POE Review: Philadelphia
Event Description
Entry Date : 2012-07-29
Embassy Review : Sucked! They are idiots! When embassy gave sealed envelope, they did not put original application inside. Immigration in Philadelphia kept my husband waiting for 2 hours! The one guy kept asking him where is the application! Finally after 2 hours another immigration person said, look....he has the visa! He had to fill out application....let him through!

So finally, after 2 hours of waiting, and I kept asking people, do you know anything...and no one would help me! They just leave you sitting and waiting without knowing what is going on!

Definitely horrible!
Harassment Level : Moderate

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
