I was just in Lancaster County on Saturday, attending a production of Ruth at the Sight and Sound theatre...we were right in the middle of Amish country. This is a real tragedy. :(

Reports say the gunman, who was 32, called his wife and said he couldn't take it anymore and was getting revenge for something that happened 20 years ago? 20 years ago? When he was 12? What the hell did the Amish do to him 20 years ago that could possibly justify shooting little girls in the head? My God.

since i'm in PA, its been all over the news most of the afternoon. its horrific and sad. :(

i couldn't sit here and watch all the coverage, its just too heartbreaking, then it makes you angry that those precious little lives were snatched away.
