You all rock! I just received an e-mail that my I-129F has been approved! This is with a NOA1 date of 11/21/2005 and the NOA2 is dated as 2/22/2006 (three months on the dot).

Thank you everyone for all your help. I was worried I would need a lawyer to put the packet together but apparently I did just fine!

Now, what should I expect after this? I know that it will be shipped to the NVC but in terms of timeline, am I looking at another three months? Just want to get a sense of what others went through.

I wish everyone the best and understand how difficult it can be to wait. But to be honest, I amazed how fast the CSC processed our application. I was expecting 6 months. Anyways, I guess the secret to life is managing expectations!

11/02/2006 - biometrics appointment in Santa Ana

01/05/2007 - interview appointment in Santa Ana - APPROVED!!!

01/16/2007 - greencard in mail

01/22/2007 - EAD card in mail (well, thank you very much)

December 29 2005 ~ Touched

March 9 2006 ~ NOA2

April 5 2006 ~ Packet 3 arrives

April 11 2006 ~ Packet 3 returned to London Embassy

June 12 2006 ~ Interview Date (APPROVED!)

June 26 2006 ~ Entered the U.S. under K-1 Visa

July 06 2006 ~ JOP marriage

September 12 2006~ I-485 Received by INS

September 18 2006~ NOA recieved

September 30 2006~ Married

October 3 2006 ~ Biometrics Appointment (Fingerprinted)

November 16, 2006~ RFE reply received ...didn't even know we had an RFE (INS stated that the RFE was

probably sent to the DR. that did our biometrics)

January 17, 2007 ~ CSC is now processing cases received September 25 (11 days after ours was received) :(

Congrats! Things go through the NVC very quickly and as far as the embassy and interview goes I would check out timelines to see how long people waited on average for Armenia :)

Congrats to you!!! Doesn't it feel great???

Just hold on tight, in a few days you'll receive the NOA2 in the mail and they give you a number to call the NVC if you don't get anything from them within a couple of weeks. From what I've heard, it doesn't stay at the NVC long.
