Hello Emil98710,

I will try to answer to some of your questions based on my experience, but please don't take them as a norm?

1. they gave me a visa wich it expire after 6 months: Yes, that is pretty standard. They expect you to enter the country within 6 months, but if there are valid reasons, they may extend the time, but you have to go through the embassy again. Not going to be a fresh interview, but you will need to deal with them again.

2. will I get a residence of two years once I`m in the states or what: If you feel in the category of CR1 (conditional), yes, you will get a 2 year permanent resident card. The expectation is at the end part of this 2 year, your spouse will file other forms to remove the conditions. I guess that brings more money to USCIS :-)

3. how much money I`m taking with me to the states: I think it does. When you will come here you will file the landing form that will have a section if you have more than $10,000 with you. If you check yes, you will need to justify that. Not saying you will but that's to avoid money laundering scheme. So see if you can find any other way transfering your money other than carrying cash.

I hope that will give you some idea. However, I am sure you look back now and realize all the blood and sweat you had to go through is worth it. In the coming days, life will knock you down. And when you are down, remember of these treacherous time and I am sure you will feel much better.

Best of luck.
