Good solid advice here given to you by several members. I want to add that yes it is beneficial for her to be present at the interview or at least let it be known ( show them her passport ) that she is waiting outside during the interview if they don't allow her in. It shows strong support. I agree do not bring up the money you send her. Sworn affidavits ( letters ) from your and her family / friends attesting of your bona fide relationship also help. I agree to the 5 on the 1-10 scale.Bring as much communication evidence as you have from day one to now. It won't be easy. God bless.

Definitely! Definitely have her at the interview! It will help FOR SURE! If she is not allowed inside at the interview, at least make sure that they understand that she is there. Even take her passport with you to prove. I would say with 6 days together and 25 years age difference for man being 25 years younger from the culture where men are older always, I would say o scale 1 to 10 you are probably at 2.

They may try to ask you a lot of questions about her and her family, her work.. Very detailed questions.. They want to know how well you know your wife.. Be prepared..

I absolutely think it is important for your wife to be there...

I married a lady that is 25 years younger than me. She had no problems obtaining a CR1 visa. The difference in age is not uncommon for the Philippines. The only difference is you being the man is 25 years younger than your wife. It should not make a difference. You just need to convince the interviewer that it is a legitmate marriage supported by how frequently you chat with her which is supported by chat logs, etc.

This sort of situation is actually very common, you can look at other posts involving men usually from MENA countries where the wife/girlfriend is much younger, has children, different religion and usually poor and divorced.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

In MENA countries it does. CO looks at what is customary for a specific country and what is not. Things are complicated by the fact that there is a huge number of fraudulent marriages where younger men from MENA marry older women from US to get visa either through paying to these women or through lying about relationship. It affects other people that are true.

One thing to keep in mind, is this is common in PI, but may not typical in Lebanon.. Make sure you're prepared...

If she comes to lebanon before the interview date ...will that help? and can she go inside with me to the interview?

Even though she can't attend the interview, it will certainly help if she can come to be with you during the interview. For many consulates, that is proof of a strong relationship, but as others pointed out there are some major red flags in your case and the age difference IMO is the least of these. Knowing each other for only 6 months and getting married on the first visit in a MENA country is a huge red flag. You sending her money is another huge red flag and, as pointed out, will give the impression she is being paid to sponsor you. You need to document your relationship very thoroughly. Evolution of relationship letters from you and your wife will help and include reasonable explanations for why you were sending her money. If it was for her to buy gifts for the children or for special occasions, definitely say that. If it was to help her pay bills, that will be an issue both with the petition and the I-864. Also be totally prepared for questions about anything and everything even down to how she spends her spare time, what color the house/apartment is. what kind of car she drives, color, family member names and so on. And don't be surprised if the VO calls your wife and asks her some questions as well.

Has she visited again since the trip to get married? Sorry to say but I think you have a big uphill battle at the interview. Be as prepared as possible, go in calm, confident and cheerful and do the best you can.

Hi VJ's

I MET MY WIFE ONLINE AND SHE CAME HERE TO LEBANON AND WE GOT MARRIED A CIVIL MARRIAGE IN CYPRUS,,SHE WENT BACK TO USA AND FILLED ALL THE DOCUMENTS FOR ME...I AM YOUNGER THAN HER IN 25 YEARS..AND MY INTERVIEW AT THE US EMBASSY IN LEBANON IS AFTER SOME DAYS...COULD I GET THE CR1 VISA OR THEY WILL DENY ME KNOWING THAT I HAVE PHOTOS-FACEBOOK CHAT LOGS-SLIPS FROM WESTERN UNION FOR SENDING HER MONEY TO BUY STUFF FOR HER AND SENDING MONEY FOR HER KIDS-E-MAILS-CHATS ON SKYPE-ALSO REGISTERD MARRIAGE PAPERS HERE IN LEBANON..PLEASE HELPPP

Hi, We worried sooo much about our Age Difference while going through this process. Our 18 year difference was really ignored at the interview. We had read that in the middle east it was looked apon as a red flag. I feel if you have all of your evidence and show the consular officer the relationship is a true love situation you will be fine. It's all about the evidence and how you present yourself at the interview. Just be well prepared and make sure you sleep well to look refreshed and able to give your full attention to the CO. The best of luck to you both :)

Love is actually not required.

OK HOW CAN I CORRECT ALL OF THAT???? KNOWING MY INTERVIEW IS ABOUT DAYS FAR FROM TODAY????????

You cannot correct the history of your relationship. What you can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Make sure that you take with you to the interview ALL POSSIBLE PAPERS AND PROOF that would show your marriage is bona fide and legitimate. You need to be prepared to defend your case as though your life depended on it. Therefore, take all of the proof you can gather (pictures, e-mails, letters, chart conversations, money transfer receipts, proof of joint accounts -if any, etc.)

Best wishes! (F)

YOU GUYS NEED TO STOP HELPING HIM. IT SOUNDS LIKE A FRAUDULENT CASE AND IF HE IS HONEST IT WILL GO THREW. LEAVE HIM ALONE. i DON'T WANT THESE SCAMS COMING TO THE U.S. THIS IS WHAT MAKES THINGS SO DIFFICULT FOR ALL THE HONEST PEOPLE WHO REALLY DO FALL IN LOVE WITH FOREIGNERS.

I absolutely agree with you. But, don't you think that a scammer would be better prepared? These people didn't do their research prior to getting married. They may very well be in love, but man! they've done many mistakes. You do not marry on a first visit and then, never see your spouse again. That is cause for denial. If his wife has not visited him after they eloped, almost for certain the case will be returned to the US.

Again, hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.
