Timeline

This is what i got in my mail today.So i callen NVC automated voice service and when i enter my EAC receipe number it says not found or not reeceived??? Should i call again and speak with the operator or wait another 6-8 weeks as stated. Can anything be done now in order to expedite process in NVC ???When NVC assign case number will they contact me or foreign beneficiary?? I need that case number asap to mail out choice of agent form.

This is what exactly what they email me also, I got approved last July 12,and NVC says they recieved my petition last August 1, but until now no case no. yet as in NO Nada,and I talked to a human operator also, some of them are nice but others are rude esp womens lol. I just hope they will give us our case no. soon :(

Maybe speed oc Case number assignment is different for each country. Certainly I know that for the countries India, China and the countries of Latin America and Africa last longer.

my case and my son case have been approved at the same date, it's july 7th, i got my case no# on August 4th, but still nothing for son's yet! The lady to whom my husband talk to said that she got with her the file and she's working on it, but it's already been 3 days that they keep saying the same thing lol. The NVC employees are nice, as far as i know they're very helpful and never talk rude :)

Just call and check on the automated messages, and also call once a week to speak to someone, theyll see ur interest and maybe speed up on ur case. I call like 2 times a week and speak to a rep...
