What did you all that got an RFE sent in for the RFE especially Lumikukka ??? Congrats on you lighting speed appproval after the RFE !!

HELP and ADVICE please !!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, and I'm sorry you got an RFE as well.

I sent back everything I could find that had both our names on it, and could be used as evidence. I was pretty pissed off so I inundated them with a thick packet of evidence. This is what I sent:

- Complete tax returns and W2's of 2009, 2010 and 2011

- Complete phone bills of 2009 to 2012 that show we call and text each other constantly

- Car registration, insurance and car loan with both our names

- Bank statements from 2009 to 2012 that show both our salaries going into joint account, and all bills paid from that account (rent and utilities)

- Credit card statements from 2009 to 2012 that show all our daily spending from a joint account (groceries, gas)

- All leasing agreements we had since we started living together, with both our names and pet addendum which shows we have 2 'kids'

- Every single insurance policy we got from 2009 to 2012 with both our names on it (renters, car, etc)

Aside from that we also got our local congressman involved which sped things up after the RFE as well.

You're getting RFEs on things you sent because you lost them and since we are dealing with the govt., they don't lose things - it's your fault.

WOOO HOOOO just got our approval letter!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't know the date on it yet because hubby isn't here to open the letter, BUT........... I held it up to the light and saw CONGRATULATIONS and "APPROVED". That's all I needed!!!

VetsWife - there probably is no reason to get Sen Murray involved at this point. As I told you before, you most likely got the RFE because they lost your documents or they were separated from your application. So all you need to do is resend them. You'll have your approval in a couple of weeks!

Whidbey: I am simply TIRED of always having issues with them.Ever since the K 1 I have issues with the USCIS and I have no idea why.Our Marriage IS valid .Man the VA has asigned me to be my Husbands Caregiver.......how much more evidence do u need ? Plus my sons bio father said several times he wants to get me deported so he doesnt have to pay Child Support.His entire family threatened me with Immigration.So therefore it certainly cant hurt to have Senator Patty Murray involved.She is an advocate for disabled Veterans in our State so thats why I got her involved.All I want is to live in peace and quiet with my family.My Husbands PTSD symptooms spiked up since the RFE and he is terrified.I dont understand how peoplecan get divorced shortly after AOS then apply for ROC and have no problems while we who have a valid and strong Marrriage get RFE's and have to jump through hoops.They should keep an eye on those people not the ones that have not spent a day apart since they came to the US. Not to even mention all the Anchor baby cases and illegals on Food Stamps.I work in retail and you would not believe how many Customers I get with EBT cards that dont even speak English.I feel for those peoplebecause

because it cant be easy to live in fear of Deportation every day of your life ,but give me a break and dont make my life harder just because you lose my evidence.

I understand your frustration. Since you and I share a representative and we both got RFE's I'm guessing that this is how it works for Seattle. It took just 11 days from the day we sent in our RFE stuff to be approved and then another 5 days to receive the letter , I'm sure yours is on the way soon. Positive note - I was checking out stats and stuff for Naturalization and Seattle is BUSTIN' BUTT getting people through. Most are through in 3 months or less!! We can apply 7.1.12 and can't wait!

VetsWife, I do not know how they make their decisions and why some people seem to have less luck than others but one of my friends who sent barely anything more then tax returns and pictures just got her approval. Her husband had terrible credit so they couldn't have ANY bank accounts, cards anything together ever so she was the very least positive she will get an RFE and also expecting interview.. but instead.. she gets approval. On the other hand there are people like you and others here who send EVERYTHING and get questioned. Why?? How do they decide?

I havent heared anything yet.......

My online Status with the USCIS has not changed since 08/03/2011. No touch no nothing.

Got the letter for the address change though.But nothing shows on the site...frustrated.
