Hi. I just noticed you have an interview after your biometrics within 4 days. Did you recieved a letter from the immigration for an interview or got an update from online status? Is it from VSC or CSC

Met on May 17,2005

Got engaged on Sep 15th,2006

Came to the US for good on Jan 27th,2009

and we got married on March 28th,2009

I don't think their card expires on the 27th...

They did same thing as you in June and got package back ;)

Here is post on June Filers thread...

Please remove us from the list. Turns out we filed 9 days too early so they returned our entire package to us. I told my husband it was too early but he insisted that since he got the letter he was to send right away! Ugh MEN!! Anyways, turned out to be a good thing in the long run because hubby lost a job bid that he was certain he had and he ended up needing the $600 that he had originally sent with the packet. My guess is now we won't file until after our mini vacation the first week of August.

Yay! our check was cashed on July 20, and our NOA arrived today with a date of July 18. Would someone please add this to the list? Thank you! I am embarassed but I don't know how to make sure that my VJ editor is on Rich Text. (???)

I am trying to add my receipt # to my cases on the USCIS site. I am able to log in to my account no problem, but when I enter the receipt # it tells me it doesn't exist. Is this because it may not be in their system yet? Or is it an error? If I wait sometime, will it perhaps show up? Sorry if this has been asked before...

No worries. :)

I've had the same error message and question before. NOA receipt# cannot be used to check status online. Don't understand why. You have to wait for your Bio appointment notice and use the receipt#. :)

Cool... thanks! I figured there was an explanation... I will wait for Bio... I checked their average time lines and they say 6 months for VSC, but I see mention that January filers are still waiting.... I guess I won't start to sweat until next Aug lol...

It's a one year extension from the expiry right? not from filing? So I have till next Sept 30th...

I'm not suprised about the average timeline... you know Vermont... Lol. However, I am still hoping to get an approval before we move (to a different state) so that I don't have to deal with the "Change of Address" drama. Lol.

Cool... thanks! I figured there was an explanation... I will wait for Bio... I checked their average time lines and they say 6 months for VSC, but I see mention that January filers are still waiting.... I guess I won't start to sweat until next Aug lol...

It's a one year extension from the expiry right? not from filing? So I have till next Sept 30th...

oh yes i learned better than to get my hopes up with the VT service center the first time around...

the idea of january ever coming is pretty hard to imagine here in boston as well, but i'm looking forward to complaining about the snow again rather than the humidity!
