OK, i come on here normally sounding all optimistic and patient, IM NOT feeling this today!!!!!

Im having a rant.........

OK story is we have been waiting 6.5 months (got NOA1, no NOA2 yet)for a background check, not for me but for the american citizen (my fiancee). Called congrassmens office, they got told, that we are in background checks and to check back in 30 days!! Well why am i suprised, just another 30 days..... you know how many times ive heard, call back in 30 days!!! 4 times.... thats 4 months!

The congressman said that if in 30 days we not heard anything then, THEN, they can do more!!!!!!.

Pissed off yes!!! Sick of this legalised torture YES!!!!! going to give up NEVER!!!

PLease pray for me and my daughter (she is 4) and needs to be settled. As do i!

Im gonna have a big cry and blow my nose, thank you for listening to me.

Huggs and prayers to all who are in my boat..irishgirl& all the others to.

Lizzy.....................Hugs :(

I hope you get a resolution soon-what a load of sh*t. 6 months?????? That is horrible. Crying helps me sometimes, If I didn't do that I would seriously snap! Each days is getting worse-I have to be honest.

It is so infuriating that they can get away with the..........."we will notify you in 30 days" ####### over and over. My congressman said the same thing(well he can get involved in another 60 days, after their 30 days have passed). It is mind numbing and so frustrating. At this point, I am assuming we are on AR.......I have no choice but to believe that. I am so pissed but I will NEVER give up-they want a fight-they have one. He is worth every minute of this stress. There is no method to their madness at all. My head is wrecked.

Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts, my heart goes out to you as well (F)

I can relate to your feelings and agree to just cry it out and then pull your bootstrings a little tighter and take it one day at a time. This process is easier for some and alot harder for some of us. So here is <<<hug>>>> and will say an extra prayer for you tonight. (F)

I empathise with you... all I can say is hang in there... we got our noa2 in 3 months... but our petition has been misplaced it seems for no one can tell us where it is... it has been 5 months of waiting... I am not including the time lost due to sending photocopies of the forms initially. Hang in there!!!

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT

You know.... i dont know what to say!

Really...

Say 'im sorry' is a big 'nothing' because just you know what you are feeling...

And someetimes read this kind of thing make me really angry because all we are trying is stay with who we love, and we dont wanna make nothing bad in usa or anywhere...

And all these papers, and all this stress, and all these things, just to be happy.

And pass through all these things just to come and see who you love and build a life together.

Sometimes i dont understand why the big politic is so non-organized..

**pray for you

Visa Approved!

Removal of Conditions

21/03 - VSC Received it

24/03 - NOA 1

27/03 - Check Cashed
