"Convicted" means you had a trial and were found guilty or pleaded guilty without a trial.

Did you have a trial and were found guilty?

I would, however, disclose this incident at the interview

good luck

Absolutely. If you weren't convicted of a crime, then the answer is no. "Arrested" is not the same as "Convicted". Good luck!

Since you were never convicted of the crime you can honestly answer "no" never convicted.

absoulutely not. Always answer the questions completely and concisely, but never volunteer information that is unrelated to the question. That just opens a whole can of worms that you don't want to get in to.
