I think the OP was referring to the front line grunts who do the work, not the incompetent "general or generals" that caused the CSC-TSC-CSC fiasco. I'm sure the majority just want to do a good job, be paid for it, and occasionally be thanked for doing a good job. They put their pants on one leg at a time like most of us do so give credit where it is due and blame rightly where it is due.

I don't have a problem with the people what I have a problem with is the bureaucratic BS and the broken system.. I see to many people in anguish and sorrow, because of the system flaws...

I'm 56 and my wife is 49 in all honesty how many good years do we have left..?? We wish to treasure our moments together.. Time is to precious to be alone and having to rely on the "system".If I knew then what I know now, I would have relocated or done the K-1.......The embassy in Georgia said K-1 3-5 months and CR1 5-7 months...5-7 months can be stalled at USCIS..........

Again I say it's not the people... It's the system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes we understand..I have medical issues (insulin dependant diabetic) that will make it difficult to carry a baby and the more time it takes the more dangerous it will be for us and we want a baby desperately of our own. However in the end its just I want to be with my husband...it's been Nov 17th since our i 130 was accepted but praying daily we hear somthing soon for all of us...INSHALLAH

Imagine what it must feel like to answer the phone at USCIS and be the first person a lot of people talk to when they call, and all you can tell people is "They're working on it, they'll let you know when they're done, don't ask us for another month or two or three." Or different versions of the same thing. Nobody calls with questions about the number of a certain form that must be filled out, it's"When are you going to get around to my paperwork?"

The way I see it, visas are gotten at a US embassy or consulate, only so many interview spaces available every month, all over the world. The US doesn't have the same diplomatic relations with every country in the world, and though I've only been to the US Embassy in Bogota, is my guess the size and capacity of each embassy reflects the type of diplomatic relations the US has with that particular country. The Department of State is the boss here, and tells USCIS how many petitions they want from each different country each month. They know how long it takes for an approved petition to possibly end with a visa being issued. And they know how many will. And they don't want to be bothered on the phone by people asking "When are you going to get to my paperwork?" And they also tell USCIS that they want no recognizable trend in how so many petitions from each country are approved each month. When USCIS is busy, DOS couldn't care less. They tell them just play dumb when people ask, don't care how you do it. I don't know, hire more people to answer the phone and tell them to wait.
