So when exactly did the warming stop? 2010 was the warmest year on record (tied wtih 2005) since record keeping began in 1880.

Here is what I am saying. The GW hoaxers have been selling this "crisis" stuff for a couple decades. Nothing changes.

Now the Republicans are going to cut off funding for more studies and deep six any environmental laws, taxes etc. It will all be put on hold for a few years. Maybe 10-12 years. Whether you think that is stupid or not, does not matter. It IS going to happen.

So in 10-12 years is it still going to be a crisis? Who will be listening then?

I am saying the warming stopped. You just admitted it. This year tied with 2005 which is almost the same as 1998. If we are having GW then each year should be warmer than the last. Yet since 1998 there has been no warming at all. At worst you can say we are having global tempurature stasis. But you can't call it that because it isn't scary sounding enough.

You know, I am not really smart and all that but it looks like the temp from 1989 and last year are about the same! Yeah, a whole lot of warming going on there!

If you use the stretch function, you can make any data plot look ominous.

I have to ask, how exactly do you think science research projects work? If I am supposed to accept that there is a huge hoax going on I also have to believe that climate scientists world wide are deliberately manipulating data and apparently the reason why they are doing this is to obtain more funding to perpetuate the hoax. Now, I know that the idea of man being able to influence the global climate is a bit of a difficult concept for some people to grasp, but surely the idea that climate scientists abandoned all pretense at doing any real research more than 20 years ago simply in order to line their own pockets (because money is really what makes a scientist tick) and that this has been happening in every country in the world requires a huge leap into irrationality. I know which makes more sense to me.
