Congratulations to all the well overdue VSC filers for July.

July appears to be 90% clear. though there are still some remaining

non RFE petitions. Our prayers continue for those.

and good news for August.................

May God speed everyone and encourage VSC USCIS to catch up.

Is this what I think it means Visa Application Approved

Not visa, but the petition you sent in has been approved :D Congrats. That's your NOA2 basically. It will come in the mail soon.

So in a few days or right away, up to you, you can start calling the NVC for your case number

This is not happenstance but instead the result of the Congressional pressure we have been applying.

We need to keep the pressure up. If we slack off, they will slack off too.

Not sure about that. This is exactly what seems to be the trend of these service centers for all the months I've been watching them. Sometimes they're terribly slow, then they suddenly pick up the pace. I've seen it from California and I've seen it from Vermont. California will likely slow down eventually and then we'll see countless threads about that. ;) Getting congress people involved certainly can't hurt, though.

Glad to VSC is on the upswing again.

The turtle is finally waking up and poking its head out of its shell. I am cautiously optimistic. I will not judge their progress based on one day since it may be a fluke, but I will see what unfolds over the course of this week and the weeks ahead.

 LOL!!!!

My FROG is about to stretch his legs too!! ;)
