Ever since I found this website I constantly find my self on VJ even while I’m at work. Seriously it now consumes most of my days.:whistle: Just wanted to know if I'm the only VJ addict? I wake up and I run to check for any status update before I go to bed I do the same. Then I come to VJ to see if there is any news of hope. I been told that I need to detox LOL. It's easier said than done when they are not involved in this process.

Many of us look for ways to pass time as we wait for our process to move along. Another popular time consuming web site is the ever so famous

My Space. Any other fellow “My spacers” out there shooting the breeze? Funny how I joined Myspace to try to detox from VJ and the status checking on USCIS.

Any one have a great website they like to share? Something to pass time before we crack!

Well as I haven't yet submitted my forms, I can't answer number two. But I do have this website (visajourney) bookmarked both at home and at work and spend at least a half hour every day looking through posts and researching.

Our K-1 Visa/AOS/RoC timeline can be found here.

They say we all have a fundamental need TO BELONG. It's a basic need (according to Maslow?) along with food and shelter. We need a sense of belonging in order to feel safe.

There are very few people outside of VJ who understand this arduous process and the emotional toll it takes. So we come here to lean on each other for support, even if we're only lurking.

This journey is about so many other things besides a visa, and we're surprised to see our growth as individuals and couples. Some look intensely at their pasts, others tap into spiritual strengths, others fall apart.

If there was ever a theme for a reality series, this is it!

I edited so it wouldn't be so long.

Ditto, altho I wouldn't say very few people, I'd say nobody understands, at least in my case, one of the reasons I come here. I used to spend more time, but we're close now to our interview, so I have to focus more on details for our trip. But the first 4 months when our process was in that NSC - CSC - NVC long road, I used to be really addicted to this place and used to check the USCIS status several times a day :P

I am definetly addicted to this place. I check this site once from home and more than 3-4 times from work. (I am at work right now). As mentioned above it is just a feeling of belonging and the thought that there are people like you out there.

Thanks a lot.

When school isn't in, I'm on VJ all day long....can't access it at work (school's tech dept banned the site *sigh*)

Now that we're in AOS I check at least once a day. Why I don't know...I just do.
