I saw Vermont Service Center are processing Aug 7th NOA1s, although I heard around that many people who called the office were informed they are processing July 24th.

Is there anybody who's aware of any August NOA1 being approved yet?

Let see!! when I filed back in early October, Vermont was working on June filers. Today (three months later) they claim to be working on July 24th to be exact. So much progress wouldn't you say? I'm just not sure which direction they're headed. They certainly are not going foward. As far as August, they must be processing NOA1s and not NOA2s as you mentioned.

I assume you mean NOA2.

According to Igor's list, there have been 4, and 3 were apparent expedites.

So 1 in the normal course of business. WOW! WHAT BLAZING SPEED!! HOLD ME BACK!!

Try 90. It took them 6 weeks to get from July 10 to July 24. That rate is three months to process one month of petitions. At this rate, we will see a one year backlog by October.

Guys, guys, guys,

If I have to wait another 2-3 months just for my second NOA, than wait another month+ for the interview, I will probably have to see a doctor. This is insane ! We picked a wedding date with all paid and so, now we had to cancel it because the process takes 3 times more than we expected. No decent restaurant takes a floating wedding date with everything : flowers, photo, etc. We need to get married decent , because we have relatives , friends ... What should I tell everybody? We r getting married but the date is unknown, so don't make any weekend plans next few months, half a year !

This is the sad reality that the Vermont Disservice Center is cramming down all of our throats with their total failure to do what we paid them to do.

Once your fiance gets past his/her interview, I think you can safely set a date. If you can't get a date on short enough notice, he/she would need to delay his/her entry into the U.S. such that it is within 90 days of the wedding date.

Yes, I know this sucks. Blame it on the Vermont Disservice Center. It is their fault 100%

It won't take until October to get NOA2. We will definitely be there this Spring 2011. Come on, just have a little more patience and be positive and a bit more optimistic. It's coming. Losing patience will get you nowhere... It will, actually, to the doctor, like Florina said! :D
