POE Review: Fort Lauderdale
Event Description
Entry Date : 2011-04-17
Embassy Review : Ft. Lauderdale POE was painless. Waited in the visitor line for maybe 20-30 minutes. Once he got to an immigration officer, he was asked 'Why is your fiance not with you now?' He responded she was in Peru last on April 5th and she is waiting for me outside. The officer took his fingerprints and my fiance gave him the secret sealed package. They went to a separate room, where he waited about 15 minutes. They finished processing his papers and gave him his passport back and said Welcome to United States! The officer then told him which was to go or his bags!!! Super Easy, no problems at all.
