Comments : Tickets were purchased after we had received the interview date. I went to pick my baby from Miami int'l airport for her connecting flight to ATL, she spent to much time looking for her bag after coming from Immigration. By the time she came out it was almost time for departure time for our ATL flight, we were running at the airport like two crazy people and finally made it by just seconds. We were the last people to board and her bag did not make it until the next flight...A'A had to bring it to our home address. WE still had a ball together. Make sure to have atleast 3 1/2 hrs between connecting flights is a must especially friday thru monday.

Embassy Review : Based on what I was told by my fiancee, there were a lot of people. They called her to the window and they asked her a few questions about her fiance and how we had met. The questions were very simple and basic that a fiance/e should answer with no problems.within ten minutes the interview was over they returned some of the papers and pics to her and was told to go pay a $10.00 fee and there they gave her a card with a 4 digit # on it that identifies her package to be picked up on the 4/14. on the 9th I called the haiti messager and it was ready for pick up.
It was much easier than I thought, but I would advised all petitioners to attend their partner's interview in port au prince. While I did not attend mine, I could not advise anyone to miss theirs. Also it is a good idea to coach your partners to be confident during the interview...nervousness tends affect our abilities to think. Just because you are not lying, you can still raise doubt if you are too nervous.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
