Are there any other people who have filed in December?

All those before us should be given hope as you are now further along as we begin our journey!!

It is frustrating seeing people desperately waiting for their cases to progress, and having to wait right up to the 5 month mark. I really feel for you guys and I pray that you hear soon. (I also want you out of the way to make room for us!!!!)

It is uplifting to see people getting NOA 2 and then approval. It gives hope and I know that in a few short months it will be us :D

So thanks to all those who update timelines and post their progress.

Even though I am not with my Fiance this festive season I will be celebrating and making the most of this time I have left with family and friends. And on New Year'e Eve I will be celebrating all that is to come in 2011.

Best Wishes and Good Luck to everyone.

We filed on 19th Oct

Rejected on 5th Dec

Re-filed on 14th Dec

Yeah...Homeland Security received our package yesterday (December 18th)!

I am hoping to hear something from them by the end of this week...hopefully

they will cash the cheque for the petition fee!

Are you able to share why your file was rejected on Dec 5th?

I am regularly told 'good things come to those who wait'; that phrase has not let me down yet!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Package was rejected because they did not open a seperate envelope which had the cheque in.

We kept ringing because of no NOA and they kept saying they did not have us on file.

When we eventually got the package back the NOA dated Nov 5th was in the package so they must have had us in the system.

We then had further delay in sending the package back because my finace was in the UK visiting me when the package was returned to him.

Very frustrating but looking forward now!!

We are also December filers, sent on 12/12, received 12/14, check cashed 12/17.

Haven't received NOA1 (didn't send in the form for electronic notification, should have) but suppose we will have it in our mailbox this week since the check has already cleared. Pretty quick to start off, hope it continues to be all the way to the finish line!

Good luck to you guys :)

We are also Dec filers! Sent package via express USPS to Dallas, TX on 12/17 but says they failed to deliver 12/18 (no one was able to sign for it), hope they redeliver tomorrow! It seems like so many cases are put on hold, I am now afraid that we waited too long to file, but hopefully it picks up in the Winter and we all hear soon!!

Good luck to us all :)

meggy did things seem to go faster in the winter then the summer last year ?

We only had to wait a little over 3 months for our NOA2. So it wasn't bad. I think everyone got theirs pretty swiftly in my time frame. It can go slower because of the holidays and such but really I don't think there was much of a difference. Just have to be patient and know you will get news on your case eventually!
