Ksenia_O, my daughter arrived on 03/26, we send our documentation day 04/02, today received letter from USCIS confirming acceptance of our process.

For me were 3 letter, I-485, I-765 and I-131 and for my daughter were 2 letter, I-485 and I-131, I do not understand why not come to her confirmation I-765. Maybe was it not accepted? what you think about?

She should've received and I765 confirmation letter.. I would call the USCIS customer service and put an inquiry about her I765. Sometimes things get lost.. I know that I485 gets separated from I765/I131.. So, yes, just call them.

But I'm really glad K2 has I485 receipt number!!! It's in prosecc!!

K-senia_O, We received the letter from USCIS today, the I-765 was denied for lack of signature, she forgot to sign, please help me read the attachment, see if I'm right, I have to pay a separate fee for this form, I will have to send 2 photos and all documents of I-765 folder again, what do you think?

You don't have to pay any fee for I-765 if you are filing the form along with your I-485.

I have a question: what eligibility category did you put for K2 in p.16 of her I-765? It supposed to be c(9).

You're right- now you need to submit a K2's I-765 package all over again. Along with 2 pictures.

So sorry it happened.. But I'm sure after re-sending the package you will be fine. Just check and pick correct eligibility category. C(9) is free if you file this along with I-485.

Great idea!!! Of course includ a copy of K2's I-797C of her I-485.

Also copies of her passport pages, with K2 visa and biographical information, birth certificate, copy of your Marriage Certificate..

Hi! I haven't read everything so pardon me if this has been answered.

I recently filed for my wife and her son K1 and K2 AOS. I put two separate checks, 1070 for my wife, and 635 for her son. My wife's paperwork was accepted and the check cleared my bank, the money was taken. Her son's paperwork was incorrect, so we fixed it and sent it back in. It then got rejected a SECOND time because the payment was wrong.

Does the 635 filing fee not apply anymore because of his rejection the first time? He is under 14.

if for any reason the K-2 AOS paperwork is not accepted and therefore returned, the full adjustment fee becomes payable. So, yes, unfortunately you have to pay $1070.
