I count 8 distinct threads with a title "TSA blah blah something or other". Clearly the issue of security screenings has struck a nerve out there.

But given the cacophony you'd think maybe someone had actually DIED or something. The last time I can remember VJ getting so worked up about one issue, someone HAD actually died. I got as sick of reading Michael Jackson thread titles then as I am of TSA titles now.

For some here, the mere thought of homosexual men giving them a pat down at the airport makes them light-headed.

So, getting an invasive physical examination by whoever is tasked with the job is OK, but carrying identification to prove you're a legal resident of the USA is an unreasonable burden?

The hypocrisy in that contradiction is unbelievable.

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

The difference is, Michael Jackson = unimportant.

The TSA policies are something that can shape the rest of our lives..... That IS important....

I only started to care when I read the report of the woman who had the TSA woman put her hand DOWN her pants between her skin and underwear... i.e. NAKED SKIN and touch her vaginal area. Ex-fricken-scuse me?? No. That ticks me off. The scanner I have no issue with, regular pat downs I have no issue with but put your hand down my pants and I WILL have an issue... THAT'S assault, no two ways about it. You are given NO options. You either submit or are arrested. So suddenly saying "no" now doesn't matter, isn't that rape?? I will lie down on the friggen x-ray machine before I let you grope me.
