They usually ask for whatever you forgot to include. The only thing you can or need to do is wait until you get the actual RFE & respond to it. It wouldnt make any difference if you discovered what you forgot at this time. You are required to send back the form letter along with the information so it will be attached to your case file.

i sent federal tax documents b ut not state ones i dont know if i need to send those

usually the rfe is the biometrics/fingerprints letter.

you should be receiving the letter for the biomentrics in the mail soon.

Hi,

I cannot find your timeline, so I don't really know how to answer your question.

Have you got a biometric letter? If not, this RFE is most possibly only a biometric letter for your fingerprints. I also received case status update to RFE but only got a biometric letter in the mail. Many others also have the same story.

But if you already got a biometric letter and maybe already did your fingerprinted, then it is an RFE that you'll get. I'm thinking about copy of USC spouse Naturalization Certificate/Passport/etc to show that the USC spouse have been a USC for at least 3 years???

RFE is biometrics. If you didn't include something in the package, they will mail you another letter asking you to bring specific items to your interview.

actually i havent get any biometrics letter yet so i hope this is it but i just sent our application priority date oct 28th

It's just your biometrics letter. Don't sweat it. Besides even if it is an RFE (most likely not) there is nothing you can do until you get the letter and read it. No sense speculating on what you might have left out.

I have never seen an actual RFE for documentation sent for a Naturalization document. Generally, USCIS doesn't review your file until your interview when they check it off for completeness and ask to see the originals of any documents you submitted - or request other documents that they want to see (which has caught a few applicants by surprise since they didn't have utility statements when requested, etc.). If you receive a notice for an RFE and you have recently applied for Naturalization - the RFE is actually the biometrics appointment letter. Since everyone is going to be interviewed based upon the information provided in the application form, there is no need to request anything else sent before hand. You will just be reminded of what to bring to the interview when it comes. Good luck,.
