Yes, Canadian Red Neck is APPROVED after the long wait & frustration of his expedite request :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

He was approved on Nov 1st and will be moving to lightning NVC!

CRN, I think you should more concentrate for Montreal Consulate expedite, because it is taking longer time.

NVC can be done fairly quickly. Even without expedite, I finished it in 18 days.

We will have PM on this matter!

Ok, thanks..so you think that means the application is approved or they just approved the expedite request? or is there any difference?

When you posted it in the July thread, I thought it was NOA2.

Currently your expedite is approved. That means, you should hear about the "decision" soon. I'll wait for few more days for the celebration!

Just got off the phone with my wife..she said that she was calling about an expedite we filed a month ago, and that we were told to call back today in regards to a decision. The Tier 2 told her that it was approved and that the papers had already been mailed out.

I'm guessing they dont send you documents to tell you that the expedite has been granted.

CRN, keep updating us...

Check the email inbox including spam folder, USCIS website etc. (Though I didn't get any information about NOA2 other than the hardcopy!)

Also, call USCIS on Monday to confirm one more time.

You can start dialing NVC Tel# if they have received the file as well.

We're using a lawyer...so how does this all change in regards to NVC? make sure he files for EP and all that stuff? I heard that there's no DS 3032 needed if you're using an attorney.?

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

rock on man. thats awesome news. im so relieved for you guys. never should have been any doubt for your case, its just the length of time they took to let you know. i know jack about EP!

im not sure if your lawyer requests expedited process at this level. as loto says it can be gotten thru quickly but i think thats the luck of the draw to a certain extent. the nvc had our case, we havent really started there as yet not even an IIN yet but its been forwarded to the onsulate. from what ive been told - at whatever stage they approve an expedite then you continue from then at the embassy.

if you apply for an expedite across the board it may add on a week or two at the nvc but may cut down on time waiting for an interview if they approve the request and continue processing from montreal.

i might be wrong though!
