Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

Woot! Approved. Although we filed late after 2 years wife still got permanent residency.

AOS- Sent Nov. 8th 2010 Chicago Lockbox

AOS- Received Nov.12 2010 Chicago Lockbox

AOS- Received NOA1 Nov. 16 via email

AOS- Received Hard Copy Noa1's via US Postal Nov 18.

AOS- i485,EAD,AP for wife/ EAD for child touched Nov.19

AOS- Received Biometrics for mother and child Nov.22nd via US Postal scheduled for Dec 15th.

AOS- Went in for Biometrics. Dec 15th at 8am. Pretty fast..took bout 20 min in and out for mother and child.

AOS- Recieved NOA2 Jan 10th. Appt set for Feb.8th at 1:30pm

AOS- Approved Feb 8 Permanent residency

I filed for AOS, EAD and AP on Nov. 22. Husband had his biometrics on Dec. 16 and then we were just waiting for any news and checking our case status online. Finally I saw that the EAD was sent for production on Feb. 7! We are so excited. Husband is so bored with doing nothing. Our AOS case was also transferred to NSC early Feb also. I hope to hear about it soon.

08/24/2010: APPROVED! VISA IN HAND! :) (AP lasted exactly 2 months)

08/28/2010: Entry to USA at JFK.

09/17/2010: We're married!!! :)

11/22/2010: AOS filed (I-485, I-765, I-313)

11/30/2010: Received NOA1

12/16/2010: Biometrics Appointment

02/07/2011: EAD Approved

02/15/2011: Received AOS Appointment date

02/16/2011: Received AP document!

02/17/2011: Received EAD!

03/18/2011: AOS appointment (Cleveland Office)

Just received a text and e-mail saying REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE on my AOS case in CSC. Great wonder what that is all about. Letter is sent out so i guess we will see soon. I cant believe we only getting this now after my case sitting there since january 14th and has never been touched but here we go. And the worse is i have no updates onmy AP and EAD since well the USACIS site says those cases dont exist, so i cant even look those up. I have been really patient until now but this is the icing on the cake.

I jsut want this all to be over :crying:

We should get our EAD's around the same time then. I'm not as worried about my AP as I'm not really planning to go home until around summer.

I have a possible job but without the EAD, Jesus why is taking so long? And is something perfect for my work experience, i just hope this next week at least get a touch...

Sarah-Jax I got the same thing today.. I dont know why they would wait so long to request more evidence it really doesnt make sense.. But at least that shows they looked at our papers, Thats the only good I see in it and hopefully when they get it they will approve fast!!
